Mockridge Fountain, City Square, Melbourne 2010

For this public art exhibition, Lyndal Jones was commissioned by the City of Melbourne to make an environmental work to cover the Mockridge Fountain and to invite several other artists to do likewise over 6 months. She invited Gayle Maddigan, Carl Michael von Hausswolff, John Wolseley, Simone Slee to take part while making Whispering Wall, an audio installation herself. Each work was shown for 4 weeks to widespread public comment.

A video documentary was made of the series by John Paul Tansey.
